The need

Aesthetic medicine presents to the practitioner the challenge of not only delivering a great outcome but the demand to be an artist too. We understand the need for physicians to continually upgrade their current practice and skills. In order to fulfil the need to provide continuing and enriching medical education we have expanded our training programmes to offer a range of specialist programmes from beginner to advanced permitting us to support different levels of development related to Aesthetic Medicine and daily practice. Our commitment is to help each physician in developing these main points into their own specific everyday practice.

Our commitment

Our commitment is to help each physician develop these main points into their own specific everyday practice.

HOW?

Commencing with the understanding what happens under the skin: the interplay and link between the underlying muscles and fat compartments, what areas to avoid, what potential adverse events or complications every doctor faces when they deliver an aesthetic basic or advanced treatment. The dissection of fresh cadavers in the anatomy lab in Toulouse University, France, with simultaneous live injection will enable each delegate to share this anatomical knowledge and understanding.

Continuing with live patient case study and treatment planning, discussing product choices, different techniques/ approaches, complication management and Live injection – delivered by an international faculty recognised by their contribution to developing education within the aesthetic industry. Finally, in a highly innovative, unique and hands-on environment, delegates will be mentored in small groups, under the expert guidance of the faculty, in consistently performing the desired injection techniques and excellence.

Concluding each delegate will receive follow up DVD of the training session, a certificate of attendance signed by each of the faculty and an opportunity to book future private tutorials with any of the Course Directors and Faculty Members.

The recent availability of safe contouring fillers has provided cosmetic physicians with the means to enhance facial features non-surgically and practically painlessly.  This implies leaving the comfort of superficial dermal injections for deposition of product at various depths under the skin.  Knowledge of injection anatomy (the location/depth of the tip of the needle) is crucial to not only avoid vital structures (i.e.arteries, veins, nerves), but to take advantage of anatomical elements that can guide injection therapy.  Upon completion of this course, physician attendees should be able to consistently, reliably and safely perform facial contouring injections based on a thorough understanding of injection anatomy.
